The YIT School Farm has a lot of basil. I mean, A LOT.
So – we made pesto! You may recall, we made pesto before. We made a walnut parsley pesto. But this time we made classic, basil pesto with our farm fresh basil!
Served on a slice of soft bread with a few grape tomatoes – can you say “mmmmmmmmmmmm?” Delicious!
As always, our students had fun helping cook and of course, taste test!
